Dragon Whisker Tea
One of the highly prized specialty teas of Ning Hong Tea is "Dragon Whisker Tea." Dragon Whisker Tea emerged during the Qing Daoguang era (1821~1850) simultaneously with the exquisite Ning Hong tea.
It earned its name from the appearance of the processed tea, "draped in a red robe, resembling whiskers."
This tea is crafted using predominantly one bud and one leaf or one bud and two leaves, with well-developed buds.
Carefully selecting fresh leaves of uniform size and length, the tea undergoes processes such as withering, rolling, fermentation, pan-firing to achieve a reddish hue, shaping into bundles, drying, and tying into decorative shapes.

Historical Roots
In recent years, organic tea plantations have faced issues such as soil degradation, nutrient deficiency, and a decline in tea quality.
The goal is to improve the robustness of the tea plants, enable earlier harvests, and enhance yield and quality while maintaining organic farming practices. Therefore, KhaiEL Company's Earth Foods technology has been introduced.

Powerless to resist pests
The surface of the tea leaves has noticeable holes, and these insect bite marks are clearly visible.

Barren Land
The soil is yellow in color, lacking the black organic matter, making it look impoverished and lifeless.

Lack of Top Soil
When digging up the roots of the tea trees, it is obvious that there is no topsoil present, and the surface soil appears very thin.
The lack of organic matter in the soil leads to insufficient plant immunity, making them prone to diseases and pest infestations.

It is time to revitalize this land
This tea garden urgently needs to restore the organic matter in the soil to improve the immunity and resistance of the tea trees.

The Rescue in Action
Farmers are transporting Earth Foods soil restoration materials and laying them in the pathways between each tea tree.

Liquid Earth Foods
We have also developed a unique EF foliar fertilizer, which, when diluted with water and sprayed on the leaves, can accelerate leaf growth, thicken the leaf surface, increase chlorophyll, and enhance immunity.

The Rescue in Action
To improve efficiency, organic liquid is sprayed using drones, ensuring sufficient nutrient absorption on the leaves with just one flight.

Inspection Date
On March 23, 2024, as originally planned, today is the tea inspection day. Looking out over the tea garden, it is lush and green, with each tea leaf growing passionately in the spring.

On-site Survey
Organic tea garden owner Li-An, SinoChem business manager Liu-Zhe, and Marchin from KhaiEL gathered once again in the Wu-An Tea Garden to inspect the changes in the tea leaves since the use of EF technology in December 2023.

Comprehensive Observation
The group toured the 100-acre (16-acre) EF tea garden, examining the newly sprouted leaves, trunks, roots, and the soil changes.
The "Earth Food Creation" process is a soil and ecological restoration substance made from natural ingredients. These components include indole-3-acetic acid (IAA), which helps promote plant growth and flowering, enhancing robustness. 1-aminocyclopropane-1-carboxylate (ACC) deaminase helps alleviate the impact of adverse conditions on plant growth, improving plant stress resistance.

A rich and diverse array of substances beneficial to plant growth
Additionally, there are iron carriers that aid in the absorption and utilization of iron from the soil by plants, thereby promoting chlorophyll synthesis in the leaves and improving photosynthesis efficiency.
There are also solubilizing agents for salts, such as those that increase the solubility of phosphorus in the soil, as well as potassium solubilizers, which help enhance the solubility of potassium in the soil, promoting plant growth and immune responses.

Vibrant Tender Leaves
The newly sprouted tender leaves were straight and strong, untouched by pests. The top-grade tea leaves of Ninghong tea are the tender leaves that sprout first in the spring, which are the most expensive.

Edible Organic Tea
Marchin selected some tender leaves on the spot and tasted them carefully.
The taste was sweet and not bitter, natural and intense, which should be the unique taste after the improvement of tea polyphenols.

Traditional Quadrangle Courtyard
Xiushui County has a long history with numerous historical sites and relics. The traditional residential form, surrounded by houses on all four sides forming a square courtyard, features excellent privacy and ventilation and lighting effects.

Ancient Beam and Column Structures
Raised-beam and Through-tenon Structures: These are the main structural forms of traditional Chinese wooden architecture. In raised-beam structures, beams and columns are connected by bracket sets to form a sturdy framework; in through-tenon structures, columns pass through beams, creating a crisscrossed support system.

Ancient Roofing
Eaves with Upturned Corners: The corners of the roof are turned up, not only for aesthetic purposes but also functionally to divert rainwater away from the walls, protecting the building.
Roof Tiles: Traditional Chinese architecture uses tiles to cover roofs, typically green glazed tiles or glazed tiles. The tiles are neatly arranged, forming a wavy roof surface that facilitates good drainage.
