The Concept of

Nutrition encompasses various elements. Earth contains over 118 different elements, most of which, with the exception of gases, originate from the soils. These include phosphorus, potassium, carbon, calcium, magnesium and more.

Plants need at least 17 elements for normal growth

It is scientifically proven that a healthy plant needs at least 17 elements. However, since the invention of chemical fertilizer 180 years ago, humanity has only supplied the soil with the three most common elements- nitrogen, phosphorus and potassium. Occasionally, two or three additional intermediate elements are provided, resulting in a total of five elements. As a result,  soil depletion and imbalance have progressively worsened over the centuries, leading to land degradation.

Plants absorb at least 14 elements in the soil to produce crops to contribute to humans. 3 major elements are absorbed from the air, bringing the total to 17 essential elements.

As humans harvest fruits and plants, at least 14 essential elements are taken from the soil and enter the human stomach. This continuous process leads to the depletion of Soil elements .

Although plants can still grow and produce flowers and fruits with the main nutrients, this may not be sustainable beyond a year or two.

Prolonged nutritional imbalances can weaken plants progressively, making them more susceptible to diseases.

-14 : +14

Anyone with basic mathematical knowledge understand that by removing 14 elements from the soil requires compensating by replenishing those same 14 elements to restore balance.

-14 : +3

In reality, human only compensate for three main elements- nitrogen, phosphorus, and potassium- through fertilizers.

  • Inadequate and unbalanced food nutrition (with only 3 dominant elements)

  • BIG but unhealthy food

  • Unbalance human body, they become either too thin or too fat

  • At least 14 elements are needed from the soil but only 3 are being replenished. Plants losing their immunity when lacking the remaining 11 elements.

  • Inadequate nutrition makes it impossible for plants to produce antibiotics to combat pathogens, so outbreaks of disease are common in agriculture worldwide.

  • The lack of soil nutrients leading to the death of microorganisms, less biodiversity and loss of vitality.

  • Soil acidification, hardening, desertification, and finally the agricultural land that cannot be cultivated is being abandoned.

Human being tend to prioritize short-term gains, often neglecting long-term benefits.

Humans consumed more than 14 elements from the soil...

  • Only 3 elements are replenished to the land

  • It’s an unfair exchange

Taken 14(-) Replenish 3(+) = Deficit 11(-)

In the end HUMAN, PLANTS and LAND are all VICTIMS

  • Humans are getting fatter, not strong, unhealthy, intolerant of bacterial attack, and easy to get sick.

  • Chronic diseases are becoming more frequent and common even on younger generation, diabetic, hypertensive, and high cholesterol patients are on the rise.

  • Big crops but tasteless, lacking nutrition, short storage life, go rotten easily.

  • The increasing number and complexity of large-scale agricultural diseases and problems require more chemical pesticides and genetic-modified crops.

  • Agricultural land lacking in nutrients that become acidic, full of mold and toxins is eventually abandoned by human, turning into degraded land that cannot be cultivated.

Solution:
Restoring What We've Taken!

The Fair Trade for Living Soil initiative is on a mission to restore the essential nutrients our soils have been deprived of due to human activity. By harnessing the power of biochemistry, this movement ensures healthier soils, thriving microbial ecosystems, and more nutritious food. Earth Foods' Whole-Nutrient organic-inorganic fertilizer, packed with over 17 vital elements, is designed to give back to the earth what it desperately needs—true nourishment for the soil, before it’s too late.
